The University School Model

MLES NORTH AMERICA

Elite Education Across the Country

In the heart of Richmond, British Columbia, Maple Leaf Education North America operates a high school program within the campus of Vancouver's third largest university.   In partnership with Kwantlen Polytechnic University, Maple Leaf World School - KPU delivers quality high school education to students from around the world. We also recently acquired a beautiful 27-acre boarding school campus in Brockville, Ontario, Canada, known as ‘Augusta Academy’, which will open in September 2024.

The Maple Leaf university school model offers the best of both worlds—a university preparatory high school located on a university campus. Students experience the support and community of small high school classes and a unique high school identity, along with the independence and academic opportunities of learning at world-class post-secondary facilities. Our locations offer student access to many university resources including libraries, laboratories, and sports and fitness centers.

Our university partners provide a safe and academically stimulating setting, and offer options for advanced courses and dual credits in a rich and supportive learning environment. Maple Leaf students have the opportunity to begin taking first year university courses at our partner universities, who also provide a pathway opportunity to our university partners with early acceptance to the university as early as when the students are in grade 11. These post-secondary experiences greatly benefit our students by preparing them for further studies.

Maple Leaf World Schools apply the educational philosophy of blending the best of Western and Eastern educational practices. We promote equal appreciation for the diversity of race and culture, provide an optimal environment for learning and teaching, and offer a globally respected curriculum that inspires the spirit and ideals of global citizenship.
