World School Principal’s Message

I would like to extend a warm welcome to you from all of us at Maple Leaf International School – Wuhan.

One of our greatest strengths is the students that study here. We are fortunate to have been able to welcome a huge number of really inspiring young people who have learned new skills with us and gone on to make many positive contributions to society.

Over the years, our school built up a reputation for academic strength. We constantly ranked highly on a range of performance indicators, including graduation rates, university admissions data, and assessment results. Every year, the vast majority of our graduating students go to top universities around the world, including the prestigious Russell Group universities in the UK.

We currently have a highly experienced and qualified team of educators from around the world who seek to ensure that all of our students have the opportunity to fulfill their potential. As a school, we look to effectively prepare students for their futures. This involves academic success, English language development, and personal growth that will help students broaden their horizons and transition smoothly into life overseas.

We deliver the World School curriculum which is ideally placed to develop students’ abilities to be successful in their university studies. It has all the strengths of a standard regional curriculum, but additionally has curricular elements that are designed to support second language learners and prepare students to be global citizens.
