The Wuhan campus is the 2nd oldest of the Maple Leaf Schools and has seen thousands of students successfully graduate and move on to top universities around the world.

The school opened its doors in 2007 with our international high school which runs a grade 10-12 programme along with a K-9 Foreign Nationals School. The schools were very successful and in the following years an elementary school, middle school and Chinese curriculum high school were also added to the campus. There are currently around 500 students in the high school with close to 3,000 students on the campus overall.

Every year more than 95% of our grade 12 students will move to western universities and a large part of what we do, is prepare them for life and study overseas. Academically, our school has a strong reputation and students have performed well in external assessments and through their courses. As well as preparing students academically, we place a lot of emphasis on helping students develop the English language skills that they will need to be successful. For all of our students, we care about them being able to grow and meet their own individual potential. Student support services are an important pillar of our work. Our teachers are also keen to ensure that students are provided with opportunities to follow their interests.

Our school has established an inclusive and supportive learning environment for our students. We follow the World School Curriculum and students are provided with a wide range of learning opportunities. As well as the core subjects, we offer many electives courses from the arts, business, humanities and information technology. We aim to make learning enjoyable, yet challenging, and rewarding for our students. People who work with us, regularly comment on how well behaved our students are and how we are lucky to teach inspiring young people.

Wuhan, along with other campuses, has followed the key principles of respect, responsibility, honesty and hard-work. These qualities are expected of all staff members and we look to help students to develop these attributes in all they do.
