MLES CHINA
All Maple Leaf International Schools, with the exception of our Foreign Nationals Schools, offer a full boarding model.
The boarding program at the elementary and middle school levels provides a caring and supportive ‘home away from home’ environment. At the high school level we encourage a more independent living model with strong guidance and support. Many of our students live on campus during the week and go home on weekends; however, students whose homes are far away stay on campus full time going home only during holiday times.
Our schools provide small dormitory-style living accommodations with full cafeteria meal service. Our high school boarding facilities offer modern, bright rooms where students share four to a room, each with their own bed, study area, lockers and a shared bathroom. At the elementary and middle school levels the accommodations are slightly different at each campus designed to meet the specific needs of the different age groups.
Our trained counsellors provide full time student support, care and guidance to students in the hours outside of the classroom teaching time, overseeing their independent study and their free time activities. The counsellors also play an important role in helping to prepare the high school students for the more independent living situations they will encounter when they go off to university and college studies.
