Outdoor Education

At MLWS-KPU, our school is committed to providing a wide range of sports, fitness, and recreational opportunities that promote healthy, active lifestyles and leadership development.  Our Monday to Thursday after-school club program allows students to explore their hobbies and develop important life skills in supervised environments. The school’s weekend activity program organizes 16 outings each year and are designed to showcase the amazing adventures Vancouver has to offer. These optional activities are free for students to join and include activities such as skiing, hiking, go-karting, live sporting events, and magic shows.  The learning, relationships and activities that take place outside of the classroom are a key part of the overall Maple Leaf World School experience. 

MLWS-KPU organizes an annual trip during the Spring Break Holiday. Destinations in the past have included trips to Jasper, Banff and Tofino.
